PATRIOTIC MOBILIZATION AT OTTAWA

Very dear compatriots

The DIASTODE invites us to join together, Tuesday June 25, 2002, in a massive demonstration which will take place in Ottawa, to claim sanctions targeted against General Gnassingbé and his regime; on behalf of the international community. See the petition on www.diastode.org.

The Togolese people suffer and die! If we close our eyes once again, we are not likely to recognize this country anymore, because only desolation and death will reign there. All because we asked to be allowed the same "LUXURY" as the French; the same right as the Canadians, the Americans, etc. Which is to say, DEMOCRACY and scrupulous RESPECT OF PERSONAL FREEDOMS. For once, we count on you. The DIASTODE counts on your patriotic spirit and our instinct for survival.

Let's go in great numbers to Ottawa, while our compatriots of Washington, New York, London, Paris, Brussels, Berlin, Lome and world wide, mobilize themselves.

For once, like the Palestinians and the Israelis, a few months ago in Montreal, at the height of the crisis in the Middle East; we the Togolese of the whole world, will make our VOICE heard, so that the occident which removed Afghanistan from the terrorists, can HELP us to democratize the Togo. So also that our political leaders from all sides can, in all humility, shorten the suffering of our brothers and sisters, and our fathers and mothers, remaining in the country!!!

The purpose of this demonstration will be non-partisan and with one intention, to put an end to the injustice with the Togo!!!

May God bless you in your respective homes.

P.S. For more information, please call to (514) the 353-8395 or (514) 223-7222.
