HOW DOES THE FUTURE LOOK LIKE FOR THE TOGOLESE PEOPLE?

In our dear country, everything seems to be going like the Togolese people do not have and will never have the right to democracy as long as RPT (gathering of people of TOGO) the party in power exists. Indeed, this army is taken for the army and vice versa. Let `s not deceive ourselves , any dictatorship comes to an end sooner or later. As a reminder , I will mention the case of IDIA AMIN DADA of UGANDA, MOBUTU SESSE SEKO,of EX-ZAIRE, Duvalier of HAITI, to name a few. May those currently in power know that they are heading toward their fall if they keep terrorizing the people. To me, forming a government with EDEM KODJO as a prime minister is to tell the nation that the change it is waiting for is not at hand , therefore, suffering is still ahead. You cannot be both literate and illiterate. ESSO BOKO has shown clearly that he is an intellectual, therefore he will fight to stay it even if that will conflict with his party`s. aspirations.

No doubt all those who know about the Togolese crisis are aware of the fact that instead of decreasing, it has increased. The international community is now used to all those evil tactics spread throughout all AFRICA that consist of fighting to keep the power and at the same time showing a sign of dialogue. Truly speaking, not everybody must, have access to power in AFRICA. Once they get hold of it, it will take sometimes iron to take them off. It is the opportunity to praise the following presidents: RAWLINGS of GHANA, MANDELA of SOUTH AFRICA and very recently the wise decision of KEREKOU of BENIN not to run for another election according to the constitution. In contrary, in my dear TOGO, some people respect the constitution when it is of their advantage. Currently, we have about 30000 refugees in BENIN alone and also some in GHANA. Are they willing to return to their country? It has been noticed that as long as the structure of repression of the army is still active, there is no hope of a real reconciliation. Very recently, GILCHRIST OLYMPIO,the leader of UFC has declared that the opposition members are still persecuted. The fact is undisputable. All the pictures in the LTDH (Togolese league of human rights) speak by themselves. What wrong did BENISSAN TETE do to deserve to have a bullet in his left arm? The military deliberately do not up to now understand that the money used to take care of them comes from the people they are terrorizing. Hence, this question: what use is the Togolese army? The future does not look bright for the Togolese people. We are ready to forgive the military and build the country with them if they are sincere and change their goal. All we really need is an army for all and a regime ready for political rotation and the reconciliation will take root.
